What's included in the suite? A queen bed and daybed, a fully equipped kitchen, a spa-style rainfall shower, a cozy gas fireplace, and a private patio with a gas BBQ.
How does check-in work? Check-in is self-service via a keypad, so you can arrive on your own schedule. The code is emailed to you a week prior to your arrival date, along with details on check-in time.
Is there beach access from the property? Yes, guests have shared access to Whiffin Spit beach which is just 200 meters from the suite.

What's your cancellation policy?
100% of paid prepayments are refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments are refundable when cancelled 7 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if cancelled after.

Do you offer a discount for booking direct? Yes, by Booking Direct rather than through an OTA (Online Travel Agency) gets you our best rates and there are no added service fees.
Is there a minimum stay? There is a minimum stay of 3 nights from May 1st - September 30th, and 2 nights for the rest of the year.
Is parking available? There is free parking right outside the front door of your suite in our half moon driveway.
Getting to Sooke
How far is Sooke from Victoria? About 45 minutes by car, an easy coastal getaway from Victoria or a stop on a longer Vancouver Island trip.
What's the nearest airport or ferry terminal? Victoria International Airport (YYJ) and the Swartz Bay ferry terminal are both roughly a 45–60 minute drive away, depending on traffic.
Do I need a car to get around Sooke? A car would be recommended as Sooke town is 3.1 km from the suite.
Exploring Sooke
What's there to do near Whiffin Spit? Whiffin Spit is a scenic walking spit right in Sooke, popular for walking, wildlife watching, and sunset views which is just two minutes from the suite.
Is Sooke good for whale watching or wildlife viewing? Absolutely, as the Sooke coastline and Strait of Juan de Fuca are known for seasonal whale sightings and coastal wildlife.
Where can we get food and coffee nearby? Just around the corner from us is Sooke Harbour House, which offers two dining options. You can also pick up a coffee to go and walk the spit. There is also The Prestige Oceanfront Hotel which is 2 km away and they offer the West Coast Grill and the Island Tarts Cafe & Catering just inside the foyer of the hotel.
