Nicely decorated apartment. Most awesome shower, roomy bathroom. Will always remember the parade of deer that walked past the property.

Our stay in this lovely apartment was perfect. It is very high quality and easily walkable to a nice restaurant and beautiful sand spit.

Linda and John are amazing hosts. Within a short time after making the booking, Linda reached out with a warm welcome message, provided thorough instructions for the accommodations, and recommendations for things to do in the surrounding area.

Communication was effortless as Linda made sure we had everything we needed before and after arriving.

The accommodation definitely set the standard for cleanliness as it was spotless. Upon arriving, the suite was warm, inviting, quiet and peaceful. Linda and John provided lovely treats for my spouse, myself, and our dog.

The location is amazing as it's just a stone's throw from Whiffin Spit which is a beautiful little scenic stretch along the water where you can enjoy a lovely walk with your dog. This is a wonderful place to unwind, relax, recharge and get away from the city life.

Seagull Studio is spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. Everything from the linens to the furniture was thoughtfully chosen. Linda welcomes her guests warmly and is happy to provide information about activities in the local area. She had treats waiting for us and our dog, as well as a private patio/garden available for our use.
The property is located a couple blocks from Whiffin Spit, a scenic walking path between the harbor and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Sooke is a great place to go biking or beach combing. We would happily visit Seagull Studio again!

Linda was really nice and her place was separate from their house with like an open archway in the middle so there’s no noise transference which is a huge plus and it has a wonderful Historic place to go have food and they’ll even let you have your dog with you on the patio? I think it’s called the Harbour House, right there by Witt, which is another fantastic place to go with your dog because all the other dogs are being walked by their owners, too, and it’s quite the party! Everything about the place was very comfortable. The bed was super wonderful and the highlight was the shower. I took pictures of it. I want to have a shower just like hers! Ha ha ha.

Home away from home is a cliche but staying at Seagull Studio in Sooke defines the phrase. It exceeded our expectations from our experience of receiving exactly what we read about it online. From its impeccably tasteful interior to its beautiful garden and yard (available for guest use), Seagull Studio never failed to deliver. Finally, Linda is the kind of host that Airbnb should be highlighting as a model for others to emulate. Thoughtful, communicative, friendly, and respectful of guests’ privacy… she has it all.

We had a great stay at Linda’s place. Sooke is a beautiful location and Seagull Studios adds to ambience. From the walkability to Whiffin Spit, exploring the island, to ending the day at the Harbor House for drinks overlooking the Spit the location of the place can’t be beat. The house was very clean, private, and Linda was very helpful and responsive. Would have no issues coming back to rent again.

Probably the BEST air BnB I’ve stayed in! Everything was great: the location is close to the ocean but the unit is private from the street and neighbours, lots of parking for a full size truck, the clean and stylish interior, the extra touches from the host and the their incredible hospitality and responsiveness! Also Sooke is a foodie gem, some great restaurants to check out.

It is clearly evident that Linda has invested A LOT of time, energy and thought into creating such a welcoming, creative and perfect place to stay. From the moment you open the door to the last time you (sadly) close it, you will find yourself not only in awe of the space, but ever so happy, comfortable, and delighted. Every little (and big!) detail finds you saying, “Wow!”, “Look at this!”, or “”I love this!” Linda goes above & beyond to ensure a comfortable & memorable stay for her guests. The surroundings are beautiful and the location is fabulous, too. I cannot recommend Seagull Studio highly enough!

We had a lot of work to catch up on and your place was perfect - strong internet and a great location to take a break and go for some peaceful lovely walks. What a beautiful apartment! A quality fit out including soft towels, well equipped kitchen, immaculately clean and a truly well considered accommodation offering. Thoughtful touches including wine and sparkling water! An owner who clearly understands hospitality and cares about their guests. Highly recommend.

The Seagull Studio perfectly matched the photos. Very lovely accommodation. The kitchen was fully equipped. We really enjoyed the private outdoor seating area & barbecue. Short walk to the Whiffen Spit point. I found the community very friendly & easy to walk.
My son & I really enjoyed our stay. I will definitely visit again & recommend to others.

This was an excellent place to work remotely, as it was comfortable during work hours and offered plenty to explore in the evening.

This lovely suite made me feel respected as a guest. The kitchen, bath, and bedding were perfect, creating such a great setting. I absolutely loved the fireplace! You both thought of everything, and we really appreciated it.
